Kids love treasure hunts. I know I did. And the scavenger hunts for the other holidays seem popular. So I developed a Valentine’s Day Treasure Hunt. It’s an indoor one (the weather in most of the US means indoors! haha). There are 24 mix-and-match clues plus blanks. The first and last clue are on the top of page one.
Instructions:
• Print options: regular paper works, but you can also use card stock if you want them to be a little sturdier.
• All of the files are in pdf below. Or click on the image. It will open in a new window and you can either print directly or save to computer.
• The default size of these is full-page.

We’ve collected five desserts with varying degrees of naughtiness, from healthy smoothies to rich, decadent red velvet cupcakes so you can choose your own level of sinfulness.
Strawberry Crepes
This elegant dessert may look like you slaved over it all day, but it’s actually fairly simple. And the fact that these crepes are made with fresh strawberries means they’re not as heavy as some desserts.
What you need:

Crepes:
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 ½ cup milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp orange juice
Filling:
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 4 cups sliced Strawberries
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp orange juice
Topping:

- Chocolate syrup
What you do:
- In a medium bowl combine filling ingredients and let sit.
- In a large bowl combine flour, sugar and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine milk, eggs, butter and juice. Slowly stir wet ingredients (excluding filling) into dry ingredients. Strain through a sieve, cover and refrigerate for an hour.
- In an 8 or 9 inch skillet over medium heat, melt a pat of butter. Pour ¼ cup of batter into skillet, tilting to coat. Cook for about a minute, then turn and cook the other side until golden, about a minute.
- To serve, spoon about ¼ cup of strawberry mixture into the middle of each crepe, fold sides over and drizzle with a bit of chocolate syrup.
