Where to find the gems in Gem Hunt! Webkinz Gem Hunt is one of the more intriguing activities in the webkinz world that becomes addicting as you quest to complete the 'Legendary Crown of Wonder'. What I didn't know, is that there is an actual method to finding each gem according to the mine. So, here's a comprehensive guide on where to find the gems!

Comment by tarbuh I don't see 'Mined from' tab here, which is a bit odd. So, just to have an idea - the ocean sapphire can also be mined. Just dropped for me from an Obsidium vein in Mount Hyjal.
Buried Bones Mine - Location of all White Gems
- The only place to find the rarest and valuable gem in the webkinz world, the Webkinz Diamond. Worth between $400-$1000
- The level 2 yellow gems, Aurora Rox and Pyramid Plunder are also found here

Once all 30 Gems are collected, Arte will make a Crown of Wonder for you and if you choose, you can sell it for $2250 kinzcash at the W Shop.

Collect 30 different gems to trade in for the Webkinz Crown of Wonder
Find your way to Arte's Curio Shop. You will see the link on the Things To Do menu.
You can go in once a day and have up to 3 tries to find a gem to add to your collection. It's a good idea to keep track of which gems you have because Arte will offer to buy your gem. If you know you have one already sell him the duplicate. Once he makes an offer you can not look at your collection.
You will have 5 mines to choose from.
Knowing which gems are found in which mines is very helpful.
