Webkinz Curio Shop Gem Hunt
How did Arte get to know so much about the rarity of all the gems in the Gem Hunt?
Webkinz
A former archaeologist, Arte Fact, the owner of the Curio Shop, used to mine in caves all around Webkinz World. He was the first Kinz to uncover the Crown of Wonders, which means Arte was the first to discover each and every one of the gems you dig up in the Gem Hunt! Arte started the Curio Shop so that everyone who visits WebKinz World would be able to enjoy the beauty and rarity of these gems. Did you know that the rarest gem in the world is believed to be the painite crystal? The painite is orange or reddish-brown in colour, and was first discovered in Burma in the 1950’s. Within the last couple of years, the source of the two original painite crystals was discovered, and now only a few hundred faceted stones exist. The stone was named after the man who discovered them, British gemologist Arthur Charles Davy Pain. Do you think Arte should have named a gem after himself?
